We’re Chris and Shannon - partners in life and business - and the faces behind Big Light Letters Brisbane. Since 2018, we’ve been helping people celebrate with bold light-up letters, neon signs, and unforgettable event backdrops.

Chris came from a background in insurance but was always a born entrepreneur and natural salesman. Shannon holds a PhD in behavioural economics and spent years in research before swapping data for dazzle. Together, we’ve built one of Brisbane’s most trusted event hire companies, combining brains, hustle, and a deep love for making magic happen at every kind of celebration.

We’re also parents to a cheeky and cheerful two-year-old girl, so Big Light Letters is proudly a family-focused business. When we’re not delivering the goods for your event, you’ll find us at the gym, cooking up a storm, playing music (Shannon’s a pianist), playing sport, or planning our next family camping trip.

We love what we do and bring our A-game every single day (some might say obsessed).

Our full-time team legend Ronald is often out delivering and keeping the warehouse humming, alongside our small crew of casual event installers who help us bring the sparkle to Brisbane’s best events.
