A week ago today we were stoked to be able to provide giant light up event letters for the Happy Hour with Lucy and Nikki LIVE show. As an avid listener of their poddy, it was an amazing opportunity to also be able to attend the show and see our big light letters in action.
We liaised with the production team throughout the whole process, including seamless delivery and pick-up. The team chose the big light letters to spell ‘LIVE’ and placed it in a prime spot on stage. After a warm up performance from Choomba, Lucy and Nikki came on stage the big light letters lit up. The vibe and the energy were electric.
The cherry on top of the night was a surprise performance from The Veronicas (uh, life long dream of seeing The Veronicas achieved). It was such a ‘pinch me’ moment to see how far our little business has come from an initial idea to seeing our big light up ‘LIVE’ on stage with such an iconic duo. And we were so lucky to be there to capture it all on camera.
The show was held at the Star Casino on the Gold Coast, a venue we are well accustomed to delivering to. (Side note: if you’re hiring big light letters always make sure that your supplier has the right insurance and their items are electrically certified otherwise major venues like The Star may turn you away.)
We had comments from the production team after about how epic the letters looked and got a shout-out on the ‘We The Wild Ones’ Instagram.
It is truly amazing how well our big light letters can bring together a stage event and fill what would have been an empty space. They are the ultimate high-impact addition to elevate the event energy.
