What We Install, and Where
Big Light Letters installs balloon garlands, columns, arches and full event backdrops for businesses, schools and venues in Melbourne, Brisbane, regional Victoria and South East Queensland. Garlands start at $350 for 3m, including GST, delivery, installation and collection. Our installers, vans and balloon stock are based in both cities, so a multi-site event gets one contact, one invoice and the same colours in every location. Our light up letters are solid steel with A-frame stands bolted on. They stay upright outdoors, in wind and rain, for days or weeks. Our event photo walls and arch backdrops are also event-grade, solid and weighted.
Pair a garland with 1.2m light-up letters or numbers, a shimmer wall, a flower wall, or arch backdrop. A 3m garland adds $350 to any backdrop.
Professional Balloons, Booked Online
Garlands are sold in 3m lengths at $350 each, about $117 a metre with GST, delivery, installation, collection and disposal included. Custom lengths are priced pro rata on the same rate. The minimum order is one 3m garland.

No Separate Fees
No installation fee, and no delivery fee inside our free zones. No disposal fee either: we come back to collect stands and letters anyway, so the balloons leave with them or you can keep them if you choose.

Why One Rate Works in Both Cities
We import most of our balloons direct and supply our Melbourne and Brisbane teams from the same stock. Buying at importer prices is what lets us publish one all-inclusive rate instead of quoting each job.
It also keeps colour consistent. A brand colour matched for your Melbourne office is the same balloon in Brisbane. Popular colours like black, gold, silver, white and navy are held in stock.
Built For Venues & Seamless Delivery
High-top vans in both cities, with trained installers in Melbourne and Brisbane.
We work to your venue's bump-in and bump-out windows, including late-night pack-downs, and can install before trading hours for retail and shopping centre activations.
In Melbourne we work regularly at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre and Crown Melbourne. In Brisbane we are a preferred supplier at The Star, and W Brisbane.

When Balloons Aren't Allowed, or Practical
Some venues don't permit balloons, such as Movie World on the Gold Coast and SEA LIFE Melbourne. Balloons are also not always ideal for week-long installs and exposed, windy outdoor sites or may not be the aesthetic you're after for your event.

HOW BOOKING WORKS

Lock it in with 20% & select your colours
A 20% deposit holds the booking date. Balance due 5 days prior to the event. Companies and schools can pay by invoice. Let us know what colours you would like.
3.
We install & collect
We reconfirm details in the week of your event, install to your venue's schedule, and take everything away afterwards, balloons included.
Corporate Balloon FAQ
Can you install the same setup in more than one city?
Yes. We supply matching garlands, colours and backdrops in Melbourne and Brisbane, plus the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo.
Can you match our brand colours?
Yes. Add brand colours to your event details form at least 5 days before the event and we match them as close as possible from our balloon range.
What happens to the balloons after the event?
We collect them along with any stands and letters, at no extra cost.
What if our venue doesn't allow balloons?
We swap in big shiny orbs, faux florals, shimmer walls or flower walls, booked and installed the same way.
Can we pay by invoice?
